Each time you plug in the gun, put a new wax stick in and let the wax gun heat up for 10 minutes prior to creating your seals. If you do not let the gun heat up for 10 minutes with the wax stick in the gun, it will not be hot enough to melt the wax sticks properly and therefore will not yield the desire results.
